Our School Year Program offers a unique, enriching experience for children aged 3-5, spanning from September 9th, 2024, to June 5th, 2025. Rooted in the philosophy of Scandinavian Forest School, our program emphasizes child-led learning, autonomy, and a deep connection with the natural world. Throughout the school year, children are given the freedom to explore, play, and grow within the rich, ever-changing canvas of the outdoors.

This program is designed to offer both full and part-time options to cater to the varying needs of families. Our full-time schedule, running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, provides an immersive experience for children to fully engage with the natural environment and the curriculum. Alternatively, our part-time options, available in morning or afternoon sessions, offer flexibility while still ensuring that every child receives a meaningful, impactful connection with nature.

During the school year, children will embark on a learning adventure that transcends the traditional classroom setting. Our curriculum integrates key developmental areas such as physical skills, social-emotional learning, creativity, and intellectual growth, all facilitated through the lens of outdoor education. Children will engage in a variety of activities tailored to the seasons, from observing and documenting plant growth in spring to exploring the icy wonders of winter.

The School Year Program is not just about outdoor play; it’s an integrated learning experience that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Through personalized attention and guided exploration, children learn to navigate challenges, collaborate with peers, and develop resilience.
